I’ve argued several times that we lack fundamental insights into our own playing field. Fortunately, it seems that change is on the way! Recently, the International Journal of Business Intelligence Research (IJBIR) has been launched. According to the journal’s mission statement, it aims to fill the gap between practioner journals and the ‘hard core’ academic ones. A great initiative!
